Riding over the oceans blue to mountains far and wide
We seek an ancient treasure and to claim a dragons hide
Ahoy there be the island lads the mighty captain cried
Make haste for the darkened path beneath the mountain side

A darkened path with twisted trees awaits us at the gorge
We carve our way upon this day with swords of iron forged
But how you ask can such a task by our swords be complete
We seek the gate to claim the treasure beneath the dragons feet
We have to find the key but where is the key

We opened the gate to the caverns below
Set forth like the knights in the legends of old
In a darkened cave with red eyes they glow
Upon the legendary bounty of gold

I fear not for the beast its ending is nigh
For I swear by my life the dragon will die
Its wings I will cast aside from its chest
To plunder the treasure fulfilling our quest

The serpent is strong we cannot prevail
Our strength is now low and we've not enough ale
Five men strong against a dragon we stand
Avast and await for your captains command

I call upon my first mate the wisest of my crew
“Ahoy captain silver what would you have me do”
Rise from your wallowing gather all who remain
The time has now come for this beast to be slain

First mate gather your fists and fire then take the back “I will attack”
My ball and chain the dragon's bane unites us all the dragon will fall

Hold fast and prepare to strike as the beast
Growls in anger prepare to face the serpent’s bite
Charge forth! Let it taste our wrath as our swords
Flash in the light together we charge with all our might
Fight on! The tides of fortune smile blessed are we
